Since the shop’s opening in 2004, The Cupcake Princess owner, Carissa Lake, has been making sweet and delightfully decorated cupcakes and cakes that are all freshly made each day from scratch. Using only the best ingredients mixed with heaps of love for her craft, Carissa’s cupcake shop instantly became the talk of the town.
From being a small time pastry maker and business owner, Carissa’s Cupcake Princess was able to build up a strong clientele not just within the neighbourhood but even beyond Waverley as well. In fact, amongst her famous clients are Nicole Richie, Candice Warner, and Jessica Rowe.
All things pastel and sweet
Upon entering The Cupcake Princess shop, you will instantly feel as if you are on a little girl’s sweet haven. Everything in the shop is pastel coloured, matching the various cupcakes on display.
For a sweet price of $4 for a large cupcake or $10 for a box of 4 mini cupcakes, you will surely have your sweet tooth cravings satisfied. All cupcakes have a great amount of icing placed on top of its soft and fluffy base.
If you are more into cakes, cookies, and brownies, do not fret because The Cupcake Princess has got you covered. All these sweets are best paired with a nice cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or milkshake- all of which are available at the store too.
