Regulars at Bronte Road Bistro love the duck confit and steak frites that go well with cocktail drinks or ginger beer. Though the regular menu doesn’t have the usual bistro choices, it isn’t intimidating. They even offer a kids menu of fish and chips, pasta, steak and chicken.
The restaurant’s usual trading hours are from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. daily. However, Bronte Road Bistro may also open for lunch for special functions and private parties.
This restaurant is quite small but its intimate setting makes diners feel easily right at home.
“This was our first dining experience with our newborn daughter and we were very nervous to how things would unfold. However, the service was very understanding and accommodating- setting us up in a comfortable spot inside and being very patient with us. They even offered to time our meals to coordinate with whoever was holding the Bub.

Food wise it was very good. My wife enjoyed the spatchcock and I had the duck. Both meals were just the right amount and the quality definitely matched the price.
Would recommend goingher for a nice romantic dinner even with a Bub.”
“This is a place to go when you want to treat yourself and someone to a special meal. Located in the hub of Waverley, the setting of the restaurant effectively secludes itself and you feel like you have escaped for a while. The food is not cheap, however, it is fresh and comes paired with a nice wine and beer of your choosing. We enjoyed a shared meal of prawn filled zucchini flowers and
