But at exactly 1:00 the southerly came in, so we reverted to the full course.The new breeze gave Chenonceau the best of the start with Sanity next, and Corinna left in their lee. Sanity soon took the lead and gradually moved away throughout to win by about 10-15 minutes. Smitten had gone for a cruise to look at a moored submarine and so missed the start, but had an enjoyable cruise following the others around the course.On the very light and shifty run to Taylors Bay Corinna overtook Chenonceau to set up a good tussle. Chenonceau regained second place approaching Sow and Pigs, with Corinna just failing to gain buoy room. But Chenonceau left a hole for Corinna to slip through at the turn.
